Other Side of the Night, The The Carpathia, the Californian and the Night the
Titanic was Lost “A bold and powerful account of the most incredible disaster in the annals of maritime history. Daniel Allen Butler’s in depth narrative is exactingly researched, admirably written and forcefully presented. He has revealed the true controversy between the Titanic, the Carpathia and the Californian, and laid to rest the enigma behind that fateful drama of April 14, 1912. Very, very well done.”

9Th Air Force American Tactical Aviation in the ETO, 1943-45 “…this isn’t your typical reference book. Besides the great photos there are real people dressed in period garb…200 high quality pages filled with lots of photos, both color and black and white, nice drawings, and figure references, along with personal accounts, I can’t think of much more to add…This is an excellent reference book for both the modeler and historian.

“While it's almost impossible to find a new book about a hitherto unexplored WWII-related subject, it's almost as unlikely to discover a new book that turns out to be the best yet written on the topic. . . . Henrik Lunde's new Hitler's Pre-Emptive War is certainly not the first book about the 1940 invasion of Norway and the battles around Narvik, but it sure looks like the best.”

Through Blue Skies to Hell America's "Bloody 100th" in the Air War over Germany “The combination of personal memoirs dotted in between the facts about the 100th’s missions, plus the evident research skills of the author providing an intelligent analysis of a great many usual aspects of the events surrounding the 8th Air Force in Europe, creates a startling combination of the poignant and the historic.”
